Keeping It Real!

Keeping it real! From my own kitchen! 12471486_10153796007950762_6355729432911819939_o

Note the dishes on display, the crate utilizing the space above the cabinet, and the bins on the right are next to the back door containing everyday dog items for my pets when they go in or out. I always keep my counters CLEAR. Less to worry about with the dogs getting on the counter, less to keep clean, looks nice, less critters

No, this isn’t perfection. I don’t strive for perfection either. I strive for what’s functional and tidy. For example: the backyard gets fairly muddy and I don’t wear shoes in the house, so I keep the towel in the bottom basket handy. Yes, you can see it. Yes, it’s visible. (The horror!)

Yes, you can see behind the smoked glass that the cups and mugs don’t match. And there are plastic bags for quick garbage within reach that you can see. The point? People think everything has to be TUCKED AWAY. I strive for within reach, quick tidy methods, and in my opinion, I don’t think it’s looks that terrible.

This works for me. What works for you?
